Corporate Ceremonies
Work doesn’t have to be all ‘work’…!
From the new job, the new contract, the work anniversary, or just recognising how awesome your team are.
I’ve worked in the corporate world for many years as a manager, leader, consultant, coach and psychologist and know how to turn and ‘event’ into an ‘occasion’ how large or small your company or however many people are involved.
Examples of ‘ceremonies’ can include:
· Prize or award giving for star performers etc
· Merger/Acquisition ceremonies to bring together people from different cultures and organisations to help focus them all into a new direction
· ‘We smashed our target’ ceremony as part of a larger ‘party’ or celebration
· Recognition of a person of ‘outstanding or achievement’ in your team, customer base or stakeholder.
· Board appointments
· Release ceremonies for people leaving to give them a great send off (retirements etc)
On a more sombre note, corporate grieving is really cathartic or respectful when someone dies and it’s not possible for everyone to attend a funeral.
